As many of you know Dirt Hugger has to move to create room for a new industrial business park development. After 18 months of searching GIS data, meeting with county commissioners, and walking across fields and forests we have a new site selected. Three grants, one bank loan and six and a half new permits later (we’re about to get the last one soon) we are getting close to being able to start construction. That is, once we raise the remaining funds to meet the budgetary requirement. Which, is the point of this post – Dirt Hugger is launching a Kickstarter campaign to close the funding gap on our move. We could bore you with textual blather, but it’s much more fun if you spend 3 minutes watching our sweet new video shot and edited by Giselle Kennedy, with amazing aerials by Ross Steffey.
A final word before you click to Kickstarter: We wouldn’t be here without you and the tremendous support of this community. We are thankful to be able to operate this business, and for everyone’s help. The joy (and struggle) we’ve had over the past four years has been life-changing and we are grateful for the opportunity. Thank you!
